INDEPENDENT BANK OF TEXAS ANNOUNCES REMOTE
DEPOSIT CAPTURE SERVICE FOR COMMERCIAL CLIENTS
(Irving, Texas) – Independent Bank of Texas (IBT)
announces today the general release of Remote Deposit
Capture service for commercial clients. Remote Deposit
Capture is a service that allows commercial clients
to make electronic check deposits from their office
instead of driving to the bank. This service provides
extended cutoff times and a 24 hour a day / 7 day a
week submission window.
In discussing remote deposit and the advantages for
IBT customers, Brad Durham the CEO of IBT explains it
is a true win-win opportunity for everyone. “IBT
is one of only a few banks in the Dallas / Forth Worth
area that has the system actually running,” noted
Durham. “Many banks our size and major national
banks are talking about remote deposit capture but only
a few actually have customers using the technology.

Remote Deposit Capture process. We are looking forward

IBT Remote Deposit Capture is a check processing solution
that allows a business customer to make deposits electronically
by utilizing a desktop scanner connected to their PC
and the Internet. Once checks that are to be deposited
are scanned, images of the checks are electronically
transmitted for deposit directly to IBT. This deposit
solution dramatically reduces the amount of time spent
preparing and delivering deposits and gives the business
more time to spend on growing their business.
