INDEPENDENT BANK OF TEXAS ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT
OF RICHARD SHOOK AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT –
SENIOR LENDING OFFICER
(Irving, Texas) – Independent Bank of Texas (IBT)
announces today the appointment of Richard Shook as
Executive Vice President – Senior Lending Officer.
Richard will be responsible for all lending activities
at IBT and headquartered in the Irving location.
In discussing Richard’s appointment as Executive
Vice President, Brad Durham the CEO of IBT explains
how important this role is for the continuing growth
of IBT. “Richard brings many years of lending
and leadership to our bank,” noted Durham. “With
IBT’s aggressive growth strategy we were looking
for a key executive to direct our lending team and Richard
was a perfect fit for us . The entire management staff
is excited to have Richard as a member of the leadership
team and we are looking for great things from him for
many years to come.”
Richard Shook has over 25 years in the banking industry
serving in key management positions. In terms of education,
Richard has a Bachelor of Business Administration from
Texas Tech University with a major in Finance and a
minor in Real Estate, and has completed the Graduate
School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University
in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
